My Soul Knew I Was Meant to Step Up
2020 was filled with so many changes and hardships.
Before COVID hit, I was teaching dreamwork and holding magical soul circles. It was a passion of mine and I was thoroughly enjoying it.
After the pandemic shut us down, I knew it was imperative I step back into my SoulBiz Coaching to help women build out their online businesses. I knew in my bones this was needed more than ever. Women, like you, need to get your transformational messages and healing gifts into the world. Importantly, being able to succeed beyond just survival and sustainable is the key to making a difference in this crazy world.
So I pivoted.
Just as I was ramping up, my life turned upside down.
In May my bowels shut down over a period of three days and I became violently ill. I had developed a stricture in my colon as a result of radiation damage from cancer 25 years prior.
I ended up in the hospital at UCSF for an emergency surgery to remove part of my colon, leaving me with a temporary ileostomy. It was not an easy journey; I had several complications throughout. I was in the hospital about a month, lost 30 lbs, and had to develop my walking muscles all over. I had to get regular IV hydration for about 5 weeks after getting out of the hospital. The story is very long.
In brief, I had to have some of my small intestine removed when they reversed the ileostomy.
The biggest lessons I learned were how important self care is and that it comes first and foremost above all else. I also learned to let things go. My best laid plans were scrapped way out the window like so many others. I learned that everything will happen in its own timing and to be okay with that.

you feel a river moving in you, a joy.” ~Rumi
My Philosophies and Value Statement
I believe that each person has the capacity to grow, heal, and become their best when given the appropriate environment, guidance, and support.
Although we find a resonance in connecting through our similarities, no two paths are the same. Each person is unique in the way they approach life, learning, and approaching or coping with change.
My philosophy is to approach each person with intuition, awareness, and a keen sense of where they are, where they have been, and listen closely for insight on the next steps.
Everybody will reach a point in their lives when meaning and becomes deeply important. When that happens it is paramount that the individual step into their greatness.
Just as there are many different people, there are also many different sets of values that a person holds near and dear. I hold the values of freedom, health, family, spirituality, nature, greater learning, and creative expression close to my heart.

In the Mud
When I'm not coaching, you can usually find me in my happy place ~ in the art studio throwing clay on the wheel. It was challenging to find time to prioritize my pottery until I outlined my definition of success in the SoulBiz Manifesto of Abundance & Success. I realized that when I have time to be in the pottery studio, it's a win for me. So why wait? I immediately started making time in the present, right now, to enjoy time in the pottery studio.
It's purely a hobby for me, but I have been known too occasionally sell my pieces.
You can find me over on Instagram @spiritfirepottery where I occasionally make posts of my work.
